Registration will take between 1-2 hours as you...

• Officially sign into Summer Training

• If participating in the Residential Living Model) get your room keys, move in, and meet your roommate and suitemates.

• Residential Site Address: James Stukel Towers * 718 W James M.Rochford St, Chicago, IL 60607

• Complete a background check and TB test as part of processing

• Pick up and complete important paperwork

• Meet your fellow corps members!

What to Bring to Registration Day

• ALL Summer Training materials and paperwork. 

• Government-issued, valid, unexpired proof of identification with photo and signature, such as a passport or driver’s license (for your background check)

• Completed pre-Summer Training work

• OPTIONAL: proof of passing a TB test

• If participating in the Residential Living Model, you will be able to move into your dorm room during Registration Day!  Make sure you bring all your belongings for the summer.

Getting to UIC

University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) is located at 750 South Halsted Street, Chicago, IL 60607. UIC is easily accessible by public transportation and car; however, parking around the building can be limited and expensive. Single day parking UIC is $13 a day. Corps members are highly encouraged to take public transportation.

From O'Hare International Airport...

• The Blue Line runs from O'Hare to downtown.

• Purchase a single ride pass for $5.

• Take the blue line to the UIC Halsted stop.

• Walk about 7 minutes to UIC.

 

From Midway International Airport

• The Orange Line runs from Midway to downtown.

• Purchase a single ride pass for $2.25.

• Take the Orange line to the Halsted stop. 

• Take the #8 Waveland/Broadway bus to the Halsted and Polk stop.

• Arrive at Student Center East

If you are unable to attend Registration Day, you will need to request a leave.
