Welcome to Onboarding! This is the time where you’ll take steps to become certified, find a school placement, and start building a support network and community of leaders.

Between now and when you arrive in our region in June 2017, you’ll:

• Work toward your licensure requirements, like registering for, taking, and passing your exams 

• Complete hiring requirements that’ll lead to your best school match, like updating your resume, going on interviews and getting to know the Chicago-Northwest Indiana context 

• Engage with your peers through virtual and in-person community spaces and begin to build your network of diverse, passionate, and impactful leaders

• Prepare for Summer Training by building context through required pre-work—this could look like engaging in specific articles and videos on the history of oppression and resistance within Chicago and Northwest Indiana
