#1 recommended resource by the 2016 Corps

These exams can feel overwhelming (a lot of new material). However, we see a 98% pass rate (on the first attempt) for folks that dedicate 5 hours of study time between when they register and when they test. Although this is a new exam with the same dedicated study time we expect the passage rate to be the same.
-
Use the ILTS Study Guide (located below). Our 2016 Corps Members said this was the most helpful study resource!
-
Reach out to the Onboarding Team if you need support or have concerns - finding a testing timeline and study plan that works for you is really important. If we need to move things around we can, but reaching out pro-actively ensures we have the space to modify your testing timeline, as needed

If you have been assigned to teach Middle School English your exam is called: Middle Grades Math 202 (Grades 5-8). Your 202 exam is a computer-based test that you can take at a Testing location near you (aka- you don't need to be in Chicago). Most corps members assigned to this content area express some nervousness about this exam because it may include content and information in which you have very limited knowledge. Please know that with adequate prep and by keeping in mind some of the "Study Tips" below, you should be successful.

NOTE: THIS PAGE WAS UPDATED ON 1/5/2017 - THE MIDDLE GRADES MATH EXAM 202 IS A NEW EXAM THAT TOOK EFFECT BEGINNING ON 2/20/2017. The State is still calibrating their scoring rubric, as a result you will not receive your scores back until early June 2017.
